In this undergraduate project for my Enviornmental Communication course at the University of Maryland, I aimed to create a comprehensive guide to sustainability tailored specifically for the Washington DC Metropolitan Area, commonly known as the DMV (District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia). The project will serve as an environmental communication initiative designed to inform and empower residents and visitors alike to adopt more sustainable practices in their daily lives.
The DMV Guide to Sustainability feature a range of topics, including sustainable living practices, eco-friendly businesses and local initiatives. It provides practical tips, resources, and recommendations to help individuals and communities reduce their environmental footprint and contribute to a more sustainable future.
Through this project, by promoting awareness and action, the DMV Guide to Sustainability aims to inspire collective efforts towards building a greener, healthier, and more resilient community.
